Projects

Everything SATUS LLC builds and operates. Each project runs on its own domain; the four desktop applications, for Windows and macOS, are published and code-signed by the company.

Desktop application for Windows and macOS

Overlay "Buddy" Studio

A Windows and macOS app for creators who need overlays on video without opening a full editor. Clips go on a visual timeline, overlays are dragged into place and previewed live against the real footage, and exports land frame-accurate. Projects stay on the customer’s computer and the app works offline.

Cut "Buddy" Studio

A Windows and macOS app for talking-head creators. It finds the dead air, the ums and the re-recorded takes in a recording, shows every proposed cut before anything is removed, and exports a naturally tightened video. Runs fully offline.

cutbuddystudio.com

Cut Buddy Studio: detected silences and filler words marked on a waveform, each cut shown for review before export.
Desktop application for Windows and macOS

Sound "Buddy" Studio

A Windows and macOS app that repairs and finishes the audio on a video or recording. Effects stack, the result is auditioned live against the original, and the export leaves the video stream untouched. Runs fully offline.

soundbuddystudio.com

Sound Buddy Studio: a stack of audio effects applied to a recording, with the processed waveform shown against the original.

Sketch "Buddy" Studio

A Windows and macOS app for whiteboard-style explainer video. Narration and sketches go in; a drawing hand renders them on a whiteboard timed to the voice track, and a finished MP4 comes out. Built for the explainer format rather than general animation.

Educational video platform

motivation.how

A learning platform built on a simple premise: a scientific or technological topic explained in a short whiteboard video lands faster than a textbook or a lecture does. Every topic is answered in the same shape — What? then Why?, with optional add-on videos for anyone who wants to go further — and topics are organised in a browsable, searchable classification rather than a flat playlist. Registered viewers keep their own interests, follow the blog and comment; contributing authors publish into the same structure.

motivation.how

A motivation.how whiteboard frame: a “What? Why?” callout, a library and a branching mountain road drawn in marker, with the site name in the middle.
Web platform and print store

techforgotten.com

An interactive map and database of archaeological artifacts, photographed on location by the project’s founder and catalogued by construction technique — polygonal masonry, megaliths, relieving gaps, rock-cut and subtractive work, and more. Because every record is placed geographically as well as by type, comparable objects at sites thousands of miles apart can be found side by side, and visitors can plan their own trips around them. Large-format prints of the photography are sold from the same catalogue, in standard and custom sizes.

techforgotten.com

Six artifacts from the techforgotten.com archive: Sacsayhuamán and Puma Punku stonework, a Turkish trilithon portal, the Petra treasury, the Bazda quarries and a Roman-era mausoleum.
